How rare is this, and should I keep it until "one day" or sell it now?

Three Wheelin'
I would believe this. it looks like a regional/market bumper that i've heard about very rarely. its definitely not a RoW 944 bumper in the truest sense and it looks more like a cross between RoW 924 lights and rubber pads on a US 944 bumper.

Funny I was just looking at one in the UK yesterday, search ebay.co.uk. It was certainly the UK spec and I believe the same for the whole of Europe. There petty affordable in the UK but as mentioned befor ethe shipping would suck.
The other thing is the front valance / spoiler on the US na has a larger gap around the bumper than the euro spec, also the euro spec did not have the fog lamps in the spoiler just the set in the bumper.

All euro 944 front bumpers are fiberglass 5 part bumper like this: (2 rubber pads, 2 brackets and long beam/parking lights (not fog))

Thanks! I appreciate it. My wife was looking for a Karmann Ghia (sp?) but I had a buddy who wanted to move and he had this...
At the time I got it, it was just a shell with a new paint job. It had a new engine and transmission in it, but it was otherwise totally gutted. I got all new window seals, new wiring harnesses, interior, blah blah... it runs pretty well too...

Voith, it's not a 924 bumper.
I'll try to explain this only one more time:
THERE ARE 3 VERSIONS OF THE 944 FRONT BUMPER
1. ROW FIBERGLASS (the one in the last pictures seen here ^ )
2. ROW ALUMINIUM AVAILABLE ONLY IN 2-3 COUNTRIES DEMANDED BY SAFETY REGULATIONS ( the one pictured in my earlier post )
3. US/CANADA ALUMINIUM

You are right. Its rare row alu version.
In europe however all non turbo/s2 are equipped with fiberglass front and rear bumper.

I'll say I'm wrong...I have one at home and assumed they were all aluminum. I didn't think you could get away with fiberglass bumpers through 1989 ANYWHERE! Mine has a 931 part number on it, btw.

I suppose it's nice to have the driving lights but otherwise it looks like the same old ugly U.S. spec bumper. The euro fiberglass bumper looks far better but it is quite fragile. I wouldn't use a euro on a daily driver but the one you have would be O.K.
