Post 924 vs. 944

I have been looking at 944s. I was wondering how do 924s handle compared to 944s? Also, what is different besides the power? The styling is pretty similiar, and the 924s are cheaper (less power though).

Also, where can I get specs on the various models of 924s and 944s? And anyone know of any sites that track the changes throughout the existance of either?

Thanks, Jordan

If you buy a 924S, then basically you're getting a 944 with a lighter, more aerodynamic body on it. Same horsepower, higher diff ratio (to keep top speed down, but helps acceleration!) as the 944 but, unless equipped with the M030 suspension package, will not have the rear sway bar.

Jordan,

There is just such a site. It is called the 924/944/968 Frequently Asked Questions. Go to section 2 "Model Outline".
