Post Is this normal??

Is it normal to be able to see the battery from the passenger seat when looking through the windshield of my 88 951?

It seems a little too exposed to the elements. Am I missing a cover or some trim that should go around it?

What do the battery tray drain holes/tubes look like?

Regards,

Steve

I've never seen this part (black plastic trim attached to rear of hood), and IIRC it's not listed on PET.

Any comments???

There is a black plastic cover that fits over the battery (kinda like a hat). Most that I've seen - including mine - are broken. I do not currently use mine, but I can't recall if you can see the battery from the passenger seat.
