There's 4.39mm diff. to be exact at the spindle top hole which translates to 29mm
at the LCA ball-joint to bring the stub shaft back to parallel. So if the 86T doesn't get the Late control arms then the top strut mount/camber plate has to move towards the engine by 29mm, assuming the spindle camber bolt remains untouched.

Forgot, I had some pics I took before. 86T on right, 87T on left:
The second one shows that there is about 5mm (pushed-out) difference at the caliper points, that translates to about 3mm at the camber points on the spindle. The angle is about 4deg like you said. I'm not good at trig but if you see the last pic you have a triangle with a 4deg angle and both sides adjacent to the right-angle are 3mm and 62mm (the distance between the camber adjustments holes). If you adjust the camber at the 3mm line you don't have to move it much for a big angle movement. If you adjust further up the trianle you must move it a lot to get a small angle adjusment.
I wish I could be more scientific but my head hurts.

We're both on the same track. I see that you were using the CALIPER mounting pounts as reference. Which is not as exact as comparing them at the strut mount location. I have personally measured ALL 5 spindle types and the 86T spindle is the Bastard lol.

I haven't measured but it seems like you could get at most 1 degree of camber without camber plates.

I am going to build a few sets for the 86T that will place 87-up 300mm Turbo rotors over the hub so nothing else has to be changed. Same 86T control arms, struts, spindles and calipers remain.

Curious Question: On 86T front wheels, how far can the Hub-Bearing Cap protrude out without interfering with the Wheel Center Cap?
I'm going to machine the O.D. Of the hub to 155.00mm since most of the 9-series rotors have that interface dimension. Some newer 911 and Cayenne rotors are 157.00mm and will fit anyways. The Cayenne rotors will still need centering rings if you go that big anyways.....
When I was mic'n the hub, I couldn't believe Porsche actually cast the base of the hub with a smaller O.D. This is where most of them stress fracture at so I will make them beefier than the Later ones even....

At any rate $8.59 x 10ea. will bite. I don't see why re-using the 45mm studs would hurt as I have put many 8mm spacers on the 944 with no problems. This subject recently came up on Hybrids.

Alright, I'm confident on this hub design for the 86T. I have been over 15K hard-earned miles on mine and even destroyed a front tire and balljoint on a massive pothole a few months ago. After removing the studs from the factory 86T and 87 hubs, the 86T studs are only 5mm shorter than the 87-up hubs so I left the depth of the press in studs the same as factory. Once I machine the 136mm PCD of the over-the-hub rotors I can determine what size to bore the weight-reduction reliefs.....IIRC it was like 200 grams for all 5 reliefs. This should put back close to factory weight and 5-6 times the strength....

These fit 83-85 NA and the 86T with the same size bearings to maintain maximum strength and they mount any 9-series rotor over the hub. They will have 136mm PCD setscrews in them as well. Any Brake adapter I designed for the 87-up NA or Turbo Hubs/ Spindles will now work with the NA cars with these hubs. Struts/Control Arms/ Spindles will remain untouched
