Default Tubing flare tool for our european tubes

Is there a tool you can buy that will make the flared ends on our brake lines?

Right....

Any recommendations? Preferably made in the USA

The cheap (junk) double flaring tools are worthless. The more expensive ones are worth the extra money. However, there is always a happy medium between "snap-on" quality, and harbor freight price. Just wondering if anyone on RL has a favorite one they use for bubble flares.

Advanced auto borrow it or buy it for $35. Works fine, I bought one a few months ago.

I have an SK one that I bought from Tool Warehouse (http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/p-62...ool-90428.aspx). In my experience it doesn't work that well in that the hardline slips in the jaws as you screw down the flaring die. This leaves dig marks in the line exposing bare metal... To do over again, I'd splurge for a hydraulic one. My .02

There is all kinds of hydraulic flaring tools and Ebay for an assortment of prices. I have the OTC brand and paid $500 off the Snap-Off truck!
