I have a funny story. I was cruising with my brother on the highway and this Civic SIR with stickers, exhaust, and a bodykit was coming fast on my right lane. It was some gino with his girlfrined trying to show off. He approached beside me and said if i wanted to race.
I said, "no". He then called my a *****. I still didn't want to race, but my brother had to jump in and say smoke him. I do have to listen to my older bro LOL. So i downshifted to 3 gear and the car was at max 15psi i was gone in seconds from his view. He was so far back from me that i could not even see him anymore. My brother later told me never let anyone disrespect you like that.

WHere in canada are you located?

S2 Nut you beat me to it...
Plus, the 924's rear reflector is round, not rectangular like the 944...

I suppose it could have started life as a 924, then underwent a Frankenstein-esque transformation into the hideous crime against nature it is today....who knows?

Actually, it takes a LOT of chrome and many stickers to beat a Viper - what's the matter with you guys?! You should know that by now.

Cool

Here's mine with lots of stickers... ooops, I mean lots of "mods"!! My favorite mod is the "way cool" cross drilled brake lines. They are real neato. Next I will add another shelf to my spoiler and crome plate my wipers. I almost forgot, I also need some Oriental lettering.

The thing I find amazing is the fact that these kids are willing to put $20k into a car that will have absolutely no value in 10 or 15 years.

Just compare the value of a well-maintained 15-year old Porsche to a Honda of the same year.

I wish you guys would crop and compress your pic'S. They don't NEED to be bigger than 30 k.
That rice was 342987. Takes forever to download.
There should be a rule against pic's that big.
Anyway I want to see the car not the posh houses - crop them.
No offence all you picture takers but Life's too short to spend half the night looking at a blank screen and ..W..a..i..t..i..n..g

Or you could call BT and get them to consider Broadband in the country outside of London.

I actually spoke to a guy who told me he lives a 1/4 mile at a time.

Since then I have lost all faith in humanity..

I have since reduced it to 51k. I will be more considerate in future. Thanks for pointing that out.

it seems like some of you guys are confusing rice with actually building up a japanese car.

also, the ability to hang with some supercars depends on the race. a crx with a good suspension setup and a b16 would probably do very well against supercars on an autocross track.

I appreciate a "decent" Japanese automobile that is optimized for performance. That doesn't mean stickers, shiny exhaust tips, incorrectly lowered, heavily moded windshield wipers, shiny tail light covers etc. A "decent" car doesn't need goofy plastic nonfunctional stuff hanging off of it. Having said that, it is everybody's business what they want to drive and they have the right to choose but that doesn't negate my right to find humor in dissing them. It's like our parents who laughed at a souped up Hemi Cuda with 25" rear mags and side pipes with lots of bondo. To each his own, and besides, the "backward baseball cap toting teenagers" are great for our economy. They are spending all their parents hard earned money on expensive "downgrades" for their cars and it's quite harmless. If it keeps them from being bored and vandalizing our Porsches, all the power to 'em.
