Post Redline 75-90 GL5 review

As many of you have read...I debated and then finally decided on going with the "masses" and changing my less than 5000 mile old dino GL-4 (i tihnk sae 80) fluid with some redline 75-90 GL-5 gear oil...

The results? The car seems to slide into reverse easier, less notchiness/"feel" going into gear (slightly), quite a bit easier to slide it into 1st gear when rolling slowly (5mph or less). I haven't been able to test the LSD, but I assume it'll work fine as it seemed to work fine with the dino gl-4 stuff.

Oh..and I might be crazy but I swear it feels like there's less vibration coming up through the shifter (remember autoth short shift here..may not notice this with the stock linkage).

I'm happy with it.

Oh btw the only good thing about the rear of the car being 1" higher than euro specs is that I can change the trans fluid without jacking up the car. I think its time to lower the rear though.

"where can i find redline MTL?"

Try <a href="http://www.paragon-products.com" target="_blank">www.paragon-products.com</a> or <a href="http://www.allzim.com." target="_blank">www.allzim.com.</a> they may not list it on the websie, but call either one.

(No affiliation with Paragon, Zim's, or Redline; just a happy customer of all three.)

Jim, Hey, Skip! Where's my check? (I know. It's the same place as the mates to all those single socks.)
