Angry Crankshaft pulley bolt fell off, again!!

Ok so I have a buyer coming over to check out my 944. It's for sale, kind of. Have wife back into driveway for me. Hmm very loud knocking from under the car. As she pulls in I see the crankshaft pulley bolt flop out. It's been about 1500 Miles since I did my front seals. Did I wait too long to re-check everything? Now my crankshaft balance belt pulley is mucked up and needs to be replaced. Luckily the timing belt didn't slip. At least I don't think it did. Will check that in a minute. Where can I get a new (used even) crank balance pulley?

Thanks!
Mike D.

This happened to me last year after my mechanic did belts. Turns out the spacer behind the crank bolt can be installed backwards, allowing the bolt head to slip inside the it. It is supposed to go the other way round. The bolt is too long to be tightened sufficiently if the bolt head fits down inside the washer (spacer, whatever). I would suggest checking to make sure the spacer is on the bolt correctly. Easy to get it backwards.
