If I didn't already have a good core 944S motor torn down in my basement with all the necessary parts to start rebuilding, I would be dropping in a 968 motor.

When I bought this motor 10 years ago, the price of a good used 968 engine was off the charts.

The SBC route has crossed my mind, but as my local friend, import car guru said: "Can you leave at least one car stock in your garage???"

That was going to be the SAAB but that all changed when I found an upgraded Garret turbo under the hood

I hope that you do, what's the fun of doing a swap like that and then babying the hell out of it... pointless in my opinion.

You know the rules...... you have to pay to play, and if you cant afford to pay, then you sure as hell shouldnt go and play...
