Default Help finding vintage Recaro Profi SPG seat

I am looking for a late '80s early '90's Recaro SPG to complete a 944 Escort Series car. It would look like this...

how does it differ from new one? light gray padding seem to be different, but frame I guess is same?
+ porsche crest of course. all these I presume could be retrofitted to new seat.

You might have better luck posting in the Racing forum.

Interestingly enough, I would also be interested in finding one of those for my Rothmans. Very hard to find so far...

Where did you get them from and why did you pick them over SPG's?

I didn't pick them over spg's ,i got them because they are almoust identical looking to the spg's but are 1/3 the price .I'm not looking for absolute originality ,i'm making a replica so replica seats will do just fine. They are german made and are sold here in Italy by autodeco.it ,i pay'd 350 euro for the pair without mounting brackets.

Never mind ,i got a call tonight from autodeco and said that they can't complete my order because the seats are out of stock and also out of production .I will have to find something else.
