Ok, I first bought a Phillips stageI kit (700) that was 4300k (light intensty). These were just BRIGHT white with a yellow hue. Now these were a bi!#h to install, they had to be grounded and wired to the battery. Second I bought a pair of 6000k bulbs (500) to plug in(what you see here).......they are brighter and have that purple hue. These are probaly the best on the market, but they did not have the exact look I was looking for. Next I bought a cheap Jap set for 500 that were a sinch to install, a cut here, splice there, no power, no grounding...done. And they are PURPLE as hell. If I did not anwser the question you wanted, just ask.....-Turby

I was just on ebay, and this is the same kit, but you will need the H4. I guess the name is K2 of the maker. I got them from a local rice shop, but I see them on ebay all the time and on other web sights. just search for HID and look for the 6000k K2kit kit.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1819388848

If they ever get released (seems like a month to month perpetual slide) you can always try these HIDs from Sylvania

Turby, you spent $1700 to get HID's on your car? You are sick!!
Guys try Eric at Supreme Power Parts (supremepowerparts.com) or HID4less.com. The 6000k (stage II) sets are the bluer ones. But, they throw off less light than the stage I 7000k kits. The kits are all $5-600 range - they should have a direct fit H4 kit.
I just put in a kit in my M3 - cost $250 used for Bosch ballasts and Philips D2S bulbs. BTW D2S bulbs are for projector type lamps while D2R are for reflector types (like in the 944).

I just realized something, the low-beams turn off when you flash the highs right? So in this arrangement, your lights will turn off if you flash. I've got the dual fog/driving lamps, so I'm going to come up with a wiring arrangement that will keep the lows on as I flash the high-beams/driving-lamps.
