Talking Option Codes kick ***!

I was checking out my option codes and yah! am I happy with what i found.

My tranny code is 5R, which according to Danno's Magic WebSite 'O Fun, is the one with "5-speed with M414 oil pump and limited-slip".

What a great thing to discover.

Is there any way to find out how many 944T's came with the respective options? Is my car unusual with a oil cooler and LSD? More desirable?

Also, where can I find a list of option codes for the rest of my stuff? Like the CO2 I38 418 425, ect...

Hmm, I also have a small oil cooler (radiator type) attached inline with my oil return lines...is that normal? It is located just to the side of the main radiator, in front of the PS pump..i thought I remembered reading that the cars didnt have an oil cooler and that they were recommended for racing cars.

On my way to Purist...lol.

Wink

My 951 had LSD/oil cooler.

Did you ever put your car on a hoist and turn the rear wheels or have it idling in neutral on the hoist?
A LSD car will have both wheels rotating.
My car has a 60/40 LSD.
I don't know what regular street cars have.

No not at all. Mine had heated power seats too and it was slate grey metallic.

Wait I dont get it. When its up on a hoist, do you mean just both wheels rotate, or both in the same direction? What would happen in a non lsd 944?
