I just ordered the body seals for the 944 from Sunset. I have to say, they are fantastic to work with. Jeff Clark in particular. Always got a call back, never tried to rush on the phone. We even discovered a few inaccuracies in the PET . My car was made on the exact month of the early/late crossover, so the PET has several wrong numbers on my car. Jeff found them, and made sure I got the right part.

Also, something I cannot believe.... they were cheaper than I could get from any RL sponsor!!!! $610, shipped to my door...FOR FACTORY PORSCHE PARTS!! Every seal, rooter to tooter (Except for the hood/cowl seal). All were in stock except for one door seal, which is coming from Germany.

The Porsche dealer here in Vegas is worthless. As soon as you mention "944", they tune you out. Then once you get them to look up your part, its is astronomically expensive.

Sunset is a fantastic company, with even better prices.

 

I buy more then 3/4 of my Porsche Parts from them. They are usually a lot cheaper then most places and they are Genuine Porsche Parts!

I feel bad for the RL sponsors. Especially Paragon and Pelican. They are fantastic companies both with great customer service, and prices. I honestly have no complaints with them. However, they will never have Genuine Porsche parts (for Sunsets prices anyway). RL sponsors will still be the place to go for our aftermarket "speed" parts though.
