Wondering if anyone has seen or heard from him?

I bought a dash from him that he advertised here. I paid on 11/19 and received sporadic emails the last on 12/1 stating that he had shipped it on 11/26 and that he would send me tracking that evening.

No reply to emails or PM's since and no dash has arrived.

The guy has over 13,000 posts here so I'm not inclined to think he tried to rip me off for $400 and I'm just wondering if anyone here might have been in contact with him?

He didn't rip you off. I have no clue why communication has stopped, but he has been a stand-up contributor to the community. I wouldn't worry.

+1, I haven't dealt with him first hand but he seems pretty legit.

A dash is a real burden to ship. Give it some more time, the holidays slow all shipping down, especially odd shaped boxes. He's good as a seller for sure.

It's not an issue related to holiday shipping. My company is a major holiday shipper and carrier times are still holding. It's been 10 days since he said he shipped it and it should have taken less than half that for delivery.

Not casting any aspersions on him at this point. I'm aware that he's an avid contributor. More just wondering if something may have happened to him. Thanks for the replies.

I sent him an e-mail with a link to this thread, and I will see if I can dig up his cell phone number...

I know he gets busy from time to time, and myself have let things go on too long in the past just by letting life get in the way...

I assure you he is a straight shooter, and WILL take care of you...

Again, I have made no assumption that there is something nefarious going on. I just figured I'd ask the community if they had any insight. I'm sure there is an explanation and I hope he's OK.

Interesting though. He hasn't made an appearance on Rennlist since I started trying tro email him and PM him here. Yet, he is still actively posting on Reutterwerk.com. Seems like he has time to post on that forum but not enough time to respond to my messages or send me the tracking info for the package he supposedly shipped on 11/26.

I continue to believe there is some kind of misunderstanding based on his reputation here. It is odd, though. At least I know that he wasn't hit by a bus.

I can confirm he was not hit by a bus... although he may bee feeling like he is being run over by one..

He is aware and should be in contact with you shortly, he got tied up away from home, but should have everything straigtened out shortly I am sure..

As for posting on RW, I find RW is easier to use on my mobile than RL.. YMMV..
