OT: Thanks to veterans
Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all veterans from every branch, and considering yesterday was the 227th birthday of the Marine Corp, Semper Fi! (you try living in Jacksonville, NC and not knowing that)
Aim high.
Be all you can be.
Anchor's away.
And of course...
The few, the proud.
Take care guys,
Matt

Amen Matt!
I'm always amazed how many military people own 944s and post here, so I hope lots of you guys will see this. God bless, and thank you!
*edit* don't forget the coast guard! (I don't know if they have a theme song)

This morning four WW2 vintage fighters flew over my house in close formation at low altitude. Probably on the way back from a remembrance day ceremony downtown. It was moving seeing them like that...and they sounded great. I could hear them coming for 15 seconds, and leaving for five minutes.

A marine buddy of mine toasted, "Here's to two centuries of death and destruction!", heh, heh. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> Some people get to have all the fun!
I want to thank the guys who flew the helicopter that picked me off the roof of the U.S. Embassador's house in June of 1975 and dropped me on the carrier. Great appreciation for those who flew the C-130 from Clarkfield to Guam, to Hawaii, California, Missouri, finally Boston! I guess planes didn't get too good of gas mileage back then, eh? Without you all, I probably wouldn't be here...
