Antonioali, There are several reasons not to bother buying those lenses from toysforyourtoys.

The fact is they are just doing what Rennlisters are with a spray can of Testors transparent candy apple red paint. Notice that they are charging for a "core". They get your's and spray them up and sell to the next guy. Looks like they even copied a Rennlister's paint scheme for the reverse light with the small clear rectangle.

You can do this yourself with a $3 can of paint and an hour to mask off your current lenses on the car and spray away. You can do the paint job with the lenses in place.

Heck, if you went the toysforyourtoys way you would be spending MANY hours pulling your current lenses off and putting the replacements in. Just ask anyone that has pulled the old lenses - the sealing strip caulk can be a real job to pull apart and clean off.

Ice - my lenses werent that great to begin with and with a light shot a few times (my father in law used to do paint work on custom cars and he did them) they were still a little orange. The main problem is that they are dull. You can use a polishing compound but to be honest even the one I wet sanded and cleaned up well still doesnt look right to me.

Joakim,
When are you going to offer the rear do it yourself lenses, as I need to order the clear fronts. Id rather order them at the same time then seperately.

The lenses can be made as seperate lenses, and I also can make them in smoked...I just chose to make the leneses as one piece. More pic's of the lenses I can post..I am thinking of just making a complete new tailight face using the stock housing this winter...

And the exhaust is a GHL system...

Thumbs up Clear tail lights!

Hi Folks!

As i promised i would manufactur clear tail lights.
Here is some pictures of the first prototype.

I will post a new thread about this when i have lenses in stock, ready for order.

The lenses is separated from the unit, and you have to asseble them by yourself. This is not difficult.

This is only a prototype, and the price is not established yet.

My email is Joakim-Jansson@swipnet.se
( feel free to send in an order in advance )
