Yea, L.A. doesn't exactly have the most amount of space. But, I love the weather so, go figure!

Just venting...

I was supposed to receive my LR modified crossover pipe yesterday. UPS tracking says it's delivered, but, I came home last night and there is NOTHING. I'm gonna check with the neighbors to see if it was dropped there accidentally.

Anybody had this happen?

A friend once received a bunch of stuff from LR they didn't order, and it was really good stuff, I was jealous, he was stoked, and I'm sure someone out there was still waiting...

Call LR?

This must be a pretty pathetic UPS employee then because there is a big sign on my house that says 1431, black numbers on white paint! :P

I thought the same and was mildly disappointed to see an 8v

Ok, it's kind of a joke really. There have been a million threads on how to turbo your S motor and they are all just a joke. TECHNICALLY, this is a turbo'd S because I re-used the block from my S motor to build this thing. But, really it isn't. Trying to turbo a 16v is kinda ridiculous and I opted for this approach instead.

Please add a Lindsey Racing steam vent to it while the engine is out. $30 and 10 minutes. It's a real head gasket saver.

Well, more progress this weekend. The pics don't really do my work service.

I've got the transmission in, but, still playing around with shift linkage. It feels a bit sloppy laterally still. The torque tube coupler is on but not bolted yet, still need to bleed the clutch system before I can do that. Power steering setup is in and linked up, no fluid yet. All heat shields are in and torqued down. New clutch master and slave cylinders in and routed. Wiring harness has been roped around and ready to plug in.

It's been a difficult process, but, not impossible. So, if you are looking to get more power out of your car, ask me! I'm happy to break down this whole process for you.

Here are my wiring diagrams for anyone who is interested.

Turbo

S (16v)

The source of my electrical calamities, this is the point in which the turbo engine harness and the S(16v) body harness come together.

TOB Just a random pic

Current state of affairs

I officially have turbo'd my S. Not running yet of course, but, it's getting there!

I just bought it off some guy on eBay for like $5. Best condition I had seen. I don't want to boil my brake fluid!
