Angry FREAKIN SEATBELT LIGHT!

Did some playing around with my dash cluster this past weekend, namely pulled it out and replaced the instrument lights and and repainted the reflectors. Got it back in and now the seatbelt light stays on. I tested the connection at the seatbelt receptacle, and it is working properly. When I start the car, the chime will come on, but turns off right when I put my seatbelt on. So there must be something with the gauge cluster. I have already pulled it out and inspected the connectors and plugs for any apparent damage but cant find any. I then reinstalled it and made good and sure that the connectors were on good. Still have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? How do I fix it, or how can I disable the seatbelt light?
