Post Need some help fixing central locking system

A little bit ago there were a couple posts about the central locking system, and how it would unlock when you lock it. Mine does that, so I pulled the fuse a few weeks ago.

Anyway, I'm home now and have the center console out, as well as the left door panel. I'm sort of at a loss now. It's hard to know it is the central locking switch (I suppose I should have ordered another one) or one of the doors, and if so, which one and where would the problem be?

It's an 89 944 NA, with factory alarm/central locking.

I know this is all very vague but any help/advice would be great.

Thanks,
Matt

Hey Matt,

There are pics and details for removing the door handles here...

While the base procedure is dealing with the 968 Door Handle upgrade, there is information pertaining to the 944 Central Locking system as well.

Hope this helps,
