Post Autometrics (Charleston, SC)

I am a 968 owner who recently moved to the Charleston area looking for a Porsche specialist to do some routing maintenance.

What do y'all know about autometrics.

I know they are active in the 951 racing circuit, but I want to know what the word on the street is.

They are whom I do everything with. I've gotten to know them quite well over the last few years. Great guys, very active in PCA and DE's at Roebling Road on Savannah, GA. You can always stop in there one afternoon and chat with Marshall, the service manager, tell him Jason sent you. The best in Charleston, barnone. Don't waste your time with the dealer.

By the way, there is a porsche club meeting this tuesday at Bob Woodman tires on Belgrade Ave in West Ashley, just down the street from Autometrics, some of the guys will probably be there too. It starts at 7pm, email me if you want some more info. Welcome to the area,

Jason

I have first hand experience with them too. I know of at least 3 944 series track cars that they have worked on (stock class S2, GT3, and GT1)and or built. They are always friendly and professional... <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />

Michael,

Everything that has been said about Gordan@Autometrics is true- very good guy, very good service. I would also like to mention that Baker Porsche has a new tech(Mike Shattuck) with 12 yrs experience as a techwho is also very good, owns a 88' 944 currently about to undergo conversion to a 968 motor. Was a certified GM mastertech before going over to Porsche. Hope this helps
