Default Hood Liner Replacement

I need to replace my hood liner and was thinking about going with these from Classic 9 Leather Shop.

Anybody have experience with these or at least know that they are good?

Awesome, thanks! Looks like there will be a purchase of them soon. Perhaps next month though :-)

I also have the set in the basement waiting for install, lol. I guess in Spring I'll get at it. Unless I change the hood for a fiberglass one first.

I installed them on my 88 NA. The quality is great but the fit was terrible. Not sure if there are different size pads for 951 hoods or not.

Installed them with my dad on his 928, and it went wonderfully well! They fit really nice, and the decal was easy to put on. If you take the time to measure where the center is for everything, you'll be good. It's not something you want to do in a hurry...unless you want it to look like crap!

Thanks! I'm wondering about the fit on the 944 NA. I looked at the directions and it does say to fold back the edges and sides. Was it just too big, or did it not fit at all?

Its kinda like it's over-sized a little, so that it can fit under the...uhh...edges of the hood. It's so it covers all of the actual hood, rather than leaving the sides out. It's pretty much a perfect fit, but you have to get it tucked into the sides of the hood.

OK...interesting. That seems much better than the originals, but perhaps a little more difficult to get fit correctly. Well, I'm gonna order these and see how it goes. I'll be sure to take my time with it.

Mine were actually a bit smaller and didnt cover all the way to the egdes. Not sure what the issue was. They are glued on now and I dont feel like starting over. They look good and the decals are great. I will snap some pics tomorrow before she goes to the body shop for some mods on monday.
