Default Key head replacement

So the lighted keyhead on my original key is falling apart.

I see I can get a replacement on fleabay for anywhere from $34 to $40.

Are there better alternatives ?

I would love to have a fob similar to my VW's switchblade...anyone done that ?

i'd imagine it splits apart, as if you were changing the battery. not sure though. maybe someone else can chime in

There is a little button on the side that pushes in kinda to release the key blade.

I did the switch blade key from a Cayenne. Loveeeeee it. Just order a regular key bland and use a dremmel to get it to fit.
