The making of a custom rear panel
Well my old panel that u all remember and loved so dearly passed away:
so it was time to move on to bigger (not exactly that much bigger) and better things.. so i took a piece of plexy glass and cut it to the same size as the old panel then drilled holes to fit the screws:
then sanded it down with 400 grit sand paper and primered it:
sanded down the primer with 600 and cleaned it all up.. then shot some gloss black paint onto it:
let it dry for 2 hours and then wet sanded it with 1500 grit sandpaper. then took some rubbing compound to it:
and applied some swirl mark remover and look what i did!

i took it off a car at a junkyard.. the maker is a german company called STYLE AUTO but i havent found ANY info on them.. never seen another one like it before..
and to let u all know, its not a plastic spoiler on top.. its the same material rubber as the stock spoiler.. plastic would just be ugly looking IMHO.

i made this post so more people would try making their own panels... CMON!
the one i had came with the car but i believe performance prodcuts sells them...
