It is an interesting idea, and really it would be a way to save money on wheels, and open us up to many more styles. I figure it is just as save as the other hubcentric spacers, but who knows...

The more I think about it the less likely I think these things are to work, they are essentially a 35 mm spacer, so you need a wheel with a 60mm or there abouts to get them to fit early cars, and 85mm or so to fit late cars, do those wheels exsist.

Check the offset information! What P-car has a 15mm offset? Even then, he had to go 8mm extra to make his example!

J C Whitney used to sell these for $16 a pair. I just checked the catalog and they are no longer listed. A CNC machine can make one in about five minutes and a bolt pattern program is very simple to write. It would take less than a minute to change the bolt pattern in the program. Maybe it's the Porsche lug nuts that make them so valuable or maybe it's because only rich people own Porsches. <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />

Save money??? I guess, so now I can run those hella sweet, inexpensive AR wheels on my car??? NOT. It would be nice if these were 5 x 120 so I could put one of the WMB style wheels on my car, they do make some rather fetching versions....

Cheers
