after pulling the motor from the top one time i will never do it that way agian. Way too much work. Crossmember comes out pretty easily and saves hours and frustration.

i've only done it once and it was from the top. it wasn't that bad. unless dropping it is a whole lot easier, but i don't know. i'll probably try it from the bottom next time to see how it is.
