Yeah, that's why i decided to take the plunge. Looks like i'll be driving home in the dark for the next 6 months!

I live in an area where there's always oncoming traffic (so i can't use my brights) but there's lots of wildlife. It's a bad combination.

use a wide angle infrared illuminator and infrared detector for wildlife. :P

I like the way you think, krystar!

Grandpa#3, the wiring is actually very straight-forward. There's pretty much just two positives and two grounds that need to be connected (and they'll just plug into the existing harness). The hardest part was "fabbing" the housings, because there was nothing commercially available for less than $500. But, that part actually turned out to be MUCH easier than i was expecting. I think i'll probably post on it tonight, it looks like my prior plans got cancelled...

I thought that H4 E code lenses would work great for HID retrofit, since they have such a sharp cutoff. I am really interested in your retrofit though.
