Story #1: I got a VW Rabbit for $100 bucks from a friend of a friend, the (seller) chick was quite hot..anyway, the car had rotten brake lines in the rear floors..I found out there was a service campaign and got them fixed for free.. ANYWAY.. what I found in the car was a serious CRUST on the left side of the drivers seat. Enough to make a sandwich with.. what was it? I wasn't going to touch it..but close inspection revealed a layer of BOOGGERS!!! Serious, crusty, scary stuff...she had wiped years worth of them there!!! I got a better (!!!) seat from the junkyard and pitched the booger bucket..
Story #2: Many, many years ago I had a Buick Grand National, and the service contract got me a loaner when it was in for service... Well, one service call they didn't have any loaners so I pitched a fit (Lot FULL of cars and not 1 I can take?) So they gave me a Pontiac Lemans (LeMons) that just came in on trade. It was a 4 speed, so I figured it was a great car to help my wife master the clutch. We're driving out in the boonies, I'm riding shotgun coaching, and I get bored so I root thru the glovebox. By the paperwork I see it was a female's car, her name and address is all over the paperwork. In the bottom of the glovebox I find a *****! Knowing she probably misses her "boyfriend", I called her later in the day and left a message on her answering machine, "this is Smith Chevrolet calling, you left a few personal items in the glovebox of your Lemans, and we'd like you to come down to the dealer to pick them up. We'll have them waiting here on the parts counter" I don't know how that one ended up..

I dunno 'bout that coins under the seat being good luck. The nickel that was caught in my drivers seat track caused me no end of aggravation. I had to take the right front track bolt out one flat at a time with an allen wrench. When I got to it, the nickel was folded like a taco shell. Many years of beating on it trying to adjust the seat. But the wierdest thing I've ever found in a vehicle I bought was in the old Ford pickup. As I was giving it an initial cleaning, I found an old cigarette wrapper folded and pushed up into the steering column trim at the dash. I pulled it out, and opened it to find four qualudes. I heard those things would make ya' forgetful. <img src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" border="0" alt="[hiha]" />

In one of the side pockets in the hatch, i found 2 brand new brake pad sensors in original porsche bag.
Good thing i didnt order new sensors to fix my brake pad light at the time
I also found a remnant or two of some "special" cigarettes..
