Can't wave to other 944 drivers?

I think in general a lot of people are a bit intimidated or flat out scared to wave or be waved at. These days, you just don't know who is behind a wheel. Like the man said, paranoia runs deep. And its not always paranoia...
Anyway, there is one driver I see occasionally when heading to work, and I wave at him. He's seen me a dozen times, but will never wave back. Even flashed my lights. Pretty obvious he doesn't want to be disturbed. Well, OK then. There is a single lady who lives down the street from me, has a 2000 boxter, and I'm on pretty good terms with her. So, I don't worry about ol' stick in the mud anyway. Keep on waving, somebody will figure out you're just trying to say hi.

I was driving down the 405N by LA airport in my 88 951 and saw a guy with a metallic green 951. He drove alongside of me for about 2 miles with a big smile and we both gave a thumbs up. I never had any attitude problems with any 944/951 owners here, though I probably been in a chase with one or two in the past. Don't let a couple conceited people ruin it for everyone else.
