rpm to speed

Hi!

Yesterday I do some improvement on dashboard lights...you know white led

I see 2 wires red and green that link RPM gauge to speed gauge, with some tiny electronic circuit on last one...what is that ?

I believe they are the speedo pulses that are fed to the mileage gauge.
