Post Another night in the garage.

Check this out. Got down to business in the back end. Simple shock, sway, seal, line job. Here's how it went.

It will take me 3 weeks to wear the funk off my body, but it was worth it. Some areas up in there cannot be reached, I tried! Good thing she's a road car.

Later!

There is a seal behind the CV joint flange, a couple bucks at most. Just gotta get in there. You'll need to drain and change the fluid to remove the axle stubs.

I did not put in the seals yet,..... got the wrong ones sent out. Poo. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Looking good Perry!! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

It is amazing the amount of weight the car gains simply because of dirt...

I also have been doing some cleaning as I put the baby back together.

But Perry, I did notice a change in the shift linkage. What is that? You replaced the dog bone with a flat metal... for better/shorter shifts??

Perry, looks awesome. What product did you use to get it that clean, and what was the process.

Oh yea, give us some details on that short shift kit. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

It's an Autothority kit. Can reduce throw from 30% to 70%. I could not shift well at the shortest setting, so I went with the middle one. Throw on the shift lever went from 4.75" (1st to 2nd) to 3.75". It also took out all the play I had in it.

For cleaing, see the other post floating around on the front end PS reseal.
