Ethan nailed it. Velvet red. I talked to the owner about that car a while back. It's in Lexington, right? Never went to see it, but it sounded like a nice car from what the owner said.

Good question Ian. I think you would have to contact Porsche to find that out. I was trying to find out paint codes on other S2s and could not find any information on it. I think the rarity of the S2 and the more rare colors, those other then red, black and white are pretty neat. Its cool to think that only a handfull of one color of a model was built.

Ethan I do like the off color cars, we think my dads 91 911 Turbo is the only one produced in moss green, and I like thinking that it is a 1 and only, but being 1 of a handfull sounds great too....

I haven't seen any other "Montego Black Metallic" cars on rennlist, ebay, or any other site.

I saw an S2 in N.O. today in that exact color. Looked alright, had tan interior. It looked slightly pinkish. Road next to him for a couple minutes, I was in the truck though so didn't flash.
