Default Porsche Palace "build your own euro-hatch" dvd

Ok came across this tonight. Yes I like the euro-hatch....

this is me ducking from digital eggs being thrown at me now..........

Has anyone actually purchased this "build your own euro-hatch" DVD from Porsche Palace? I have some experience with fiberglass and am thinking of giving it a try.

For purposes of weight it would be a pretty slick mod. Although doesn't lindsey racing make these hatches and also the lexan replacement stock windows? (sorry to go off topic, my fixation is losing weight lately lol)

Weight loss is a advantage with this. Glass rear window 55 lbs this would come in around 19 lbs. I have heard the ones for $500 (plus shipping) from GT racing require alot of prep and fit work. So if I were to try this out why not build my own for $250?

Aerodynamics would suffer. The rear window maintains laminar flow right to the tip of the rear spoiler. You don't want to give that up. If weight is the issue, melt some plastic into shape to replace the glass.

It's a 944 with maybe 156 horse depending on what you have and the car is a bullet as it is. that is a nice hatch though I would like to do that so then my sub and amps dont get stolen.
