Then make sure you have proper tire pressure in all 4 tires. I was so infatuated with all this recent work that I negelected basic items such as tire pressure. I put about 38 psi (of max rec. 44) in all 4 tires (firm, but not "bubble in the sidewall" firm). Car is much smoother, handles sharper, and the steering wheel doesnt pull to the left anymore. Ah, the obvious. I'm prolly getting better mpg too, Tire wear is another story though. Its amazing how one can overlook such simple yet mandatory things.

Anyone notice more roll "sloppiness"when changing over to 225/50/15.VS the stock215/60/15?It seems most noticible in quick lt rt or rt lt. I used to almost jump lanes ,now it seems to wallow. Ive set pressure at 40 front and 38 rear ,it is better but I think the old tires felt more responsive.Any thoughts from others that went with the 225/50?
Tires are yoko avs intermediats.
The tires do stick though Im not feeling much roll in long fast corners.

Well, there are so many variable at work here. And they were all changed at once, so it's tough to figure which one is responsible. You've changed:
[*]tire diameter[*]tire width[*]tire model/brand?[/list=a]
Any single one of these factors may be contributing to the different feel. We actually have a cartesian product of 8 possible combinations so it'd be tough to pinpoint any single cause with just 2 out of the 8 defined (your before & after configuration).
My guess is that it's most likely the tire construction. Different manufacturers lay up the plys differently, use different materials and construction methods.
