I am sorry to those who do not share my opinion in advance, However, This whole thing about the MEDIAONE/ATTBI BS is incredible, moronic and very insulting to me. Attbi formally named Mediaone has forced all the mail users to start using @attbi.com. The worst part about this is that they have completely botched up this whole process and are doing little to nothing to attempt and resolve the problems of everyone in my office. About twenty-five of us now no longer have email access. To boot Attbi is now informing us that we will not longer be able to log into our POP mail account outside of their network. I am completely fed up with them and will switch to DSL as soon as possible. I cannot tell any one what to do but if you are using Mediaone or Attbi, consider there customer service and what they are offering for 50 bucks a month and then look at there competitors please.
I am very frustrated and disappointed with the lever of service this company has degraded to “IMHO” and have had enough as a consumer with choices.

I got fed up with lack of service right after ATT bought Mediaone. Fortunately I can get a dedicated fiber connection from Bellsouth along with digital cable for the same price I was paying for cable modem and bad analog cable. It sure is nice to have Mediaone out of my life.

I feel your pain, I have comcast and for the first 3 months it was nothing but a rpita. Lately after spending another 39 bucks for a direct line to my modem it has gotten 100% better. Then had to change email accounts ONCE AGAIN "WIFE REALLY LOVED THAT" so I went with hotmail.com and I like the best so far.

All these companies with bad customer service should take a long hard look at K-mart.. that is the no.1 complaint about their company. And no matter what K-mart does. Until they fix this very basic problem. they will continue to fail. Investors first eventually kills. I worked for Thomas and Betts for awhile just before they started to slide.. they had the same motto also. investors first customers second..
