Default Help!!!! Stuck crank collar. What to do

Doing a front seal job on a 86 951. The crank collar, I can not get it off. I have done many of these, but this is the first time I have had a stuck collar. If you have had this same issue, what did you do??

Oil pump drive gear. Use either channel locks or I have also used a hose clamp on the gear and used that. Plus use some thread lossener. Like Aero Kroil or pb blaster.

At worse remember that you will need a new seal and often times a new drive gear as they can have a groove worn in them causing even fresh new seals to leak. So if you cannot get it out cleanly just dig it out. Just don't damage the crank or block. The drive gear is $40 or so.
