I am the 9th owner of my 87 951. It was leased originally in Michigan, turned in, sold to a dealer in Ohio, bought and brought to NJ, sold to a used car dealer, then bought again. I think there were more car dealers or an auction in there. At 8 previous owners, things get hard to remember.
I bought it with 86k miles. Suprisingly, the car was well maintained and clean. The only problems I had in the past 10k miles was a broken wastegate controller valve (which led to a blown head gasget).
I also have a 87 944na, and I am the 4th owner. The previous three were all related. They did little maintenence, played bumper cars, and let the sun damage the leather and dash. It was cheap, and still worth the price.
