SFR short shifter

Luke- the Autothority short shifter actually reduces the travel at the gearbox- it's not a shorter shift lever- therefore, you could use it if you wanted to keep your stock ****(?) OR, you could use it in conjunction w/a short shift lever like SFR, Kokeln, Harrington, etc...
Dan- I have a Harrington shifter, and, my ONLY gripe about it is the vibration- I have a Momo ****, but DO NOT have the insert you guys are referring to- I'd kind of like to pick one up, as it might work better than what I currently have, which is a piece of clear plastic tubing (rubber)that fits on EXTREMELY tightly. The vibrations that I, and several others are getting (we had a thread about this several weeks ago) actually stem from several areas, from the base, to the two different adjustable points (height of lever from pivot and heoght of ****), to the pin that attaches the linkage to the shifter itself. The factory had less moving parts, and also had two rubber pieces that were attached to it (actually wrapped around it), that almost look as though they were manufactured INTO the shifter-
I believe that this helps somewhat, as does lots of grease. Also, I actually installed a small piece of Dyna Mat underneath the whole shifter, and wrapped some more Dyna Mat around the lever itself- it worked for a couple of weeks, and now I'm getting the slightest bit of vibration- I intend to make it work the next time I take it out <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" />
Also Dan, do you have pic of your **** installed in the car? The F16 is one of the ones I'm looking at for the near future- I have the Super Anatomical (it's the pistol grip type- fairly plain) right now...
