Post 951 head with 2.7L valves?

Anybody did that?
What is the gain if any? The bigger valves should give the engine more
power because they flow better.
Any downside on this except the price?
I remember that Chris Cerveli did that on his 968 Turbo engine and it gave him another 40 HP!!!

I have heard of this, although I used to think the 2.7L came in the 944S- I recently found out that the 2.7L was used in one or two years of the regular 944- I think it was Tabor that told me... Anywyay, it is supposed to be a bettter head than the 951. I'm not sure how a P&P and possibly shaved 951 head would compare though...

Let me know if you find out, b/c I've mentioed this a few times as a possibility- I thought it was a more well thing, but evidently not. I also think that one of the people who used to use them was Garrity, and he's not really around anymore top ask...

EDIT: Sorry- I thought you were referring to using the whole 2.7L head- I was under the impression that it was better overall, not just valves...
