It was an outstanding day. A friend of Rennlist with a 7 litre ZO6 took me around for a session and I was blown away with the smooth power and incredible grip of the rubber. My neck is strained and I'm thinking I should go to a gym before I attempt putting the monster on that track. The picture showing the track as a horseshoe is taken from 5A and 5B know collectively as Moss corner. Named after Stirling Moss who suggested that layout instead of a single hairpin. The entry to 5A is a sharp left up hill after a wide downhill corner 4. The red 944 did that one in a one big drift, very impressive. He was doing 1:37 and even though he was on slicks that was pretty well one of the best times.
BTW the ZO6 was hitting 235 on the back straight, pulling incredibly hard in all 6 gears. Big wow factor.
