968 spoiler trim? Have any or good advice?
Who has a handle on the spoiler trim for converting to a 968 style wing. I went to the Sunset Imports Swap Meet today and had a nice moment in the sun. Sunset had their 'scratch and dent' table full of goodies and I saw the wing with some scuffs on it and a set of 968 m030 rear konis. Walked away with the both for $100!
I have always had a penchant for a 951 with the later spoiler, especially in the factory matte color. I'll do what I can with the scuffs and scratches, but what I need is the trim for the rest. Anyone have bits and pieces they can assist with?
Muchas Gracias!

Did you mean to type $1,000
Anyway mail the spoiler to me and I will take care of getting the trim pieces for it.
You can mail the Koni's along also. I will be sure to mail everything back ASAP.

Yep. Like I said, scratch and dent. Sunset Porsche is a nice thing to have around here. Can't say as much for Sunset Audi. Stupid Tech there diagnosed my A4 (before I bought it) as broken timing belt, crushed valves. Turned out to be a bad alternator. I bought it off the guy for $1650. So Sunset has been good to me even when they were bad.
What can I say, the price is always right there!
I might consider selling it again. Depends on if I can find the parts I need at a decent price.
Konis are like magic. Install was easy per usual and my test drive was divine. Everytime you do a before and after, it's always so much closer to the transaxle's natural balance, and I've had 7 in the line, 924-968. Deja Vu. Now, off to do the retro Koni fronts.

Try www.deutschenine.com, they're in England and sell well-made reproduction body parts. They might have what you want. You should email them and ask - if they have it, it's probably not advertised for individual sale.

You should have gotten one of the light center sections that they had there, you would need that for the spoiler. I have a few spares that I picked up...
I also picked up a spanking new batwing for my S2 for a whopping 15 bucks! Five bucks for the 968 rear engine cover. Buck for an outer window scraper. Deals all over the place at the swap meet. And you can order all sorts of parts for cheap.

I have to go to oregon for this swap meet next year!
Olli, my mistake, I thought they were in England because Future is from there. Thanks for the correction.
You don't have to have the 3rd brake light in the lower spoiler. It actually interferes with the trunk keyhole on a 944. Therefore a 1991 944S2 spoiler, which has no integrated light (those had a high-mounted 3rd brake light) will be the better choice.

I have a spare hatch that I need to rebuild, so it is no rush to collect parts here and see long term. My c88 951 has 35k original miles on it, so I am thinking that this doesn't need to happen in the next couple of weeks.
PM to stickshift with the good eye. If anyone has a bit or piece or few, please hit me up. I'd rather go factory than fiberglass if possible. Sometimes you see some pieces show up on fleabay.

Right, so I got the trim (Thanks, Paul!), all the hardware and gaskets were still attached, and I am thinking I have all the right parts together to make this a complete kit. That wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I will fab the brackets like the writeups suggest.
But you know what would be really awesome? Carbon Fiber Bridge spoiler!
Want one?
