Got bored so here are some pictures of my 944 fleet...
Figured someone might benefit from seeing a few photos of my cars and what I've done with them. Plus today has been pretty slow and boring for me which is a nice change of pace.
Always have to start with my first 944 I got about 6 years ago as bone stock 86 originally n/a, completely transforming over the years. Anyway here are a couple recent photos of it.... enjoy.
motor is due for a full rebuild, going to use turbo pistons and rods and some other fun stuff.... When it comes out I will paint the engine bay and lots of parts and pieces.
Next is my recent project I've been playing with for the past 2 or 3 years. 86 951 slowly approaching 300k miles but running like a BEAST. Got some sweet action shots below.
drifting = fun.
Picked up this early 85 a few months ago... got it running and did some work to it. Debating whether to sell it ($2k and wheels pictures are not included) or keep it and build my first 944 cup car. Money is the main issue.
couple of friends... mine is the left
right
swapping wheels for fun.
My recent daily driver vehicle... another 86 951. I have been trying to sell it for $5500 and am not getting much luck.... this sucks! Lately I've been considering possible trade options. Anyway here are some pics. As you might have realized already I like to take a lot of photos at night down at this car wash near my house...
Beige 86 951. Planning on making this the next daily driver once I sell the red one. I sold the BBS RS wheels, and plan on selling the chrome twist wheels on the red car. I have some sick wheels lined up for this car
My driveway at one point....
Anyway that's all for now. I have a couple parts cars but they are not really picture worthy. If anyone wants more action shots or something I can post more. Luckily this has cured my boredom for the past hour or so..! Hope you enjoyed the pics.

Thank you... I too love those wheels! I got them on local craigslist years ago and have never seen another set on any other car, ever. I wish I could find out what they are... there are no stampings or anything on them, anywhere.
Here's a pic of them on the orange car a while back.

Wow the 86 n/a is gorgeous! You should post more pictures of any of them. Action shots of the black 951 were cool and lets see some pics of the track maps on the rear windshield of the orange n/a. If that's what those were

Elliott ... how much camber does the red car have right now? holy cow ...
have you had any maintenance issues with "drifting" the 944? how does it stack up vs other "drift cars" (like 240sx, 3-series BMW. Miata, RX-7 etc)?
my favorite is still the one in your avatar and black/green theme!

those are the first white wheels that i like, they look good on both the blue and red/orange cars.
No wonder the balck car is approaching 300K miles, the wheels are just spinning everywhere.
Nice pics, makes me jealous.

Thanks guys I appreciate the comments.
To answer a few questions....
The white wheels are 17" ROH ZR6 that I painted white with a very slight orange pearl.
The camber on the orange car is indeed a lot... I haven't measured it yet, but it needs to be adjusted back in just a little bit. I'll take measurements once it's done and sitting a little better
A 944 is difficult to compete in drifting against other drift cars (mostly 240sx) mainly because of the weight distribution. A 240sx s13 and s14 have very little weight in the back end in comparison, so it's easy to swing out and transition. They also have e-brake's on the correct side. I will post a video clip or two of me practice drifting so you can see a demo.
Drifting seems to take no worse toll on the car than track events... besides tires. I get my used tires for free and pay minimal amount to mount them. No balancing necessary. The right suspension setup and a non-open differential makes all the difference for drifting. Just make sure to check your fluids!
Korsair970 - if you do come out this way, feel free to stop by anyway even if the blue car is sold!

Problem?
Thanks! Nope the car was originally white with brown interior and someone changed it all to blue with black interior. The blue is almost like a candy blue you would see on a lowrider. Looks pretty ridiculous but it definitely pops. Its a good color for a track car for sure.
