Finally got the 944 after ive been drooling over my friends. Maybe some of you know him Fty9999. Anyway its an 86 944 silver, had two dings on the passenger side panels and needed new paint, 110k on an automatic tranny. Picked it up for $1500 and sent it to the body shop. Should look fanastic when done. That said there are a few things i was looking for , turbo twist wheels pref used, or pending on how much the body work and paint run maybe new. Where should i look? Also is there a wiring harness kit or am i gonna have to do wire to wire? Thanx for any info.

Welcome-where are you from? Sounds like you got a good deal on the car. Make sure the timing belt and water pump have been changed and tensioned (the belt not the pump) within a reasonable amount of time. I will also ask-which wires?

Thanx, yea I'm talking about the radio wires there was a ****ty deck in there so i ripped it out and want to throw my sweet pioneer in...guess its gonna get done the old fashioned way. Yea maineiac the guy i bought from did the belts and pump, he's a porshe fanatic he sold this to keep his newly purchased 968. I'm from LI, NY. I do need a lower radiator hose, sunroof weather strip and possibly a resivoir that holds p/s fluid. Good to be here

Beaware that you'll have to help the roof go down the first 3-4 months when installing a new weatherstrip. Leaving the car in the sun for a few hours is supposed to help. The rest I would pick up at Paragon or your local dealer.

Welcome! <img border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" title="" src="graemlins/bigok.gif" />
My partner's brother just swapped my Pioneer from my n/a to the turbo the weekend B4 last. I don't know of a harness, but he used trailer connectors once he figured where the wires went. Will make it a lot easier for swaps/upgrades. Costs a coupla bucks at WalMart. HTH.
