The PO of my car had used regular oil. After 4 oil changes I started using royal purple and a K&N oil filter, for ease of removal. After adding the royal purple the car felt brand new.
SOTP dyno said I gained hp as well.

Hey JJ951,
what weight of Royal Purple are you using?
I'm planning on using them on my first oil change.

I believe it was 10w 30 I called the dealer and asked what to use. that was in dec. I just bought some more on monday. 5w 30 for the summer. I can't wait to drive the car again. It has been down since jan.

A wild guess to the 10W60 thing would be that since they will be driving the cars past 120 mph quite often (and legally too), some 0W40 just might not cut it anymore.

I'll probably do a change with 15W50 or 20W50 soon, haven't decided the brand yet but I've grown to trust Mobil 1 (amazing what marketing will do to you )
