When I made the original post I had no idea of the response it would get. Anyway, I thought i'd better do something with the results and build a profile of the board membership. In a nutshell, the students beat the geeks 26-24 for top spot, followed by administration/management.....

I never replied, add 1 for the geeks.
I am in the Air Force and do networking. I have my CCNA and my switching test done towards my CCNP. I am thinking I will take my routing test next.
I have recently moved from doing Infrastructure management to server management. On the Infrastructure side we have Cisco Catlyst 5500 switches with ATM as our backbone. 3 RSM's in our primary core switches and a total of about 60 switches. Our network has about 2500 users.
I haven't really gotten into the Server management to heavily because I just returned from a trip. It looks like I will be setting up the new backup system and also the logging system. We have a total of about 20 servers, mostly new Dell equipment.
Well that is probably more then you guys cared to read but I am bored.

I never replied either... Add 1 to the geeks and 1 to the student (or .5 to both...)
I'm attending uni while doing web application development on an independent basis.

Rob,
Thanks for posting the orignal post and the follow up! It was quite enjoyable to read the replies (I had no idea Skip was still at Denny's - I heard he had moved up to Shoney's).

Don't let him lie to you, he's a hostess. I saw him at Denny's once in his cute uniform with 32 items of "flare." Very moto.

I'm curious what category I fell into.. All I posted was "cleared to land". I'm an Air Traffic Controller.. (and a pilot, but I get PAID to tell pilots where to go). Did you assume my statement meant I was a pilot? (That's OK, I guess..)
