Used KLA sub box (driver side)...
I did a poor job of painting it black with a rattle can
With a Rockford Fosgate Punch Power HX2 Dual Voice Coil Sub Woofer
I put just over 2000 miles on my car since this was installed. Never really
cranked up the volume on it.

I went to a local PCA event at a car/home audio store. The installers said they thought it hit hard for only being an 8" woofer.
Especially being hidden under that rear hatch carpet. I had it running off an Alpine MRV-F450 5 channel amp. 50 x 4 & 200 x 1.
They said it would have been better to run it off a dedicated momo amp. The woofer is rated to 400 watts. The amp is for sale as well.
As are Diamond Audio HEX components I had(yet to uninstall) in the front & rear. 51/4"-front, 6 1/2"-rear.
I'm downsizing and going with a simple HU/coax system.
