Post SCOTT!!! Info on your level 4 SC kit!!

Scott,

Your level 4 SC conversion is done. Turbo pistons, forged rods, new bearings and rings etc etc..Total engine reseal, along with some SFR headwork.

I cannot get an email to you thru my regular email service, its down tonight...I know you read this list.

We will be puting it on the dyno this week at 15-18 PSI boost. We expect some huge numbers for you. What a sleeper your car will be...the only tell tale sign of induction is the vented nose panel. Your definately going to make a few people unhappy :-) Look for 330-350 at the tires.

Its a pleasure working with you, I'll keep you posted on the results this week.

Take Care!

Since Scottes car is a test car, he's getting a steal of a deal :-), I'll price this all out and post, its a SFR install only kit, we have to have your car here for the install and tuning.

THe Price Tag will be steep, not for the faint of heart...probably reaching the 9K area for everything out the door.

I know I know...the 951 guys are screaming already, "its not worth it!" but for the 944NA owner with a pristine esxample, like Scotts, it it indded, he will smoke the majority of the modded 951 guys, and his car is so damn pretty!

9K for 330-350RWHP Ooh! the ultimate sleeper. Buy a thrashed $3000 N/A. What does a gutted 944 n/a weigh? It would be worth the price of admission for the expression on the unsuspecting Z06/Viper drivers.

real world... ~2700 without changing the body panels or glass. Mine's at 2800#, but I still have PS, aftermarket sunroof, and the full dash.

Oh BTW, I would never recommend you strip a 944 unless you're serious about racing... it's quite simply fugly. And, it's a real pain... not worse than the snap ring though <img src="graemlins/cussing.gif" border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" /> <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" /> <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" />

Is that weight with a driver?? Seems like it's still pretty heavy if without one. Kierf's post about the snap ring was one of the funniest things I've read on this board, downright hilarious!
