Thumbs up Wide Body

I've been meaning to post these for awhile now. I'll post the remaining pics later once I finish updating my web page. Anyways here's the GT Racing Wide Body front end and splitter on my 85.5 944NA:

How was the fitment? did you have to do a bunch of work to get it to fit correctly?

Can't comment on the fitment, from seeing Mike's car in person (Hi Mike!) the front end looks very aggressive.

I dunno if I could get used to the extra width, but you could easily fit Danno's monster tires underneath these fenders.

Cheers,

Cool

Hi Riff!! We need another beer night! As for the fitment I had to drill bolt holes, create mounts and am still not crazy about it. All in all probably 10-15 hours of work to make it fit right. I'm going to trim it now to match the rest of the body lines as I think it's too low in the front. I spent the money and will live with it for now. Not that difficult a job but as Riff said, it takes a little getting used to.

More pics to follow soon!

My best!

Very fine looking, Mike. I've always loved the widebody look. Are you going to match the paint or do the whole car?

Thanks! The paint is already all matched and ready for a touch up. I just havent gotten the chance to post anything up... I need to trim the front splitter a little so it lines up better with the rest of the body.

Thanks!

Interesting... Gotti rears with Cookie cutters in front... It looks like that side-outlet exhaust is actually inside the car?
