Post Rear Wiper Electrical

Anyone ever have a problem with rear window wiper not shutting off? Motor is still active with wiper stuck in 45 degree position. I had to disconnect at the motor to keep it from burning up. Console switch will not shut it off. Is it switch or motor or both? Anyone had this experience?

Motor has a built in "detent" Switch not at fault. You can disassemble and clean the contacts (probably fused) but it is not a job for the meek. Most of these "detent" motors are just full of little bronze parts that love to go flying....Just try a window switch sometimes....

Good luck
