Your tires should be "broken in" by about 500 miles. Street tires really don't need any special care. Tires for competition need to be heat cycled one time (brought to proper operating temperature and allowed to cool completely) before they will function optimally. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

I PUT ON YOKO avs INTERMEDIATE 225/50/15 saturday ,MY INITIAL IMPRESSION IS THAT THEY FELT "SLOPPY" THEY SEEMED TO HAVE A "SWAY" THAT I NEVER NOTICED before with Michlen pilot 215/60/15.I checked all lug nuts ,from the dealer they were loose (trust no one)Only torqued to 60 lbs not 96 as specified in owners manual.I inflated tires to 34 psi in front and 36 in rear per tire racks sugestion.
has anyone else noticed this sloppiness with 225/50? should I try diff tire pressure? I thought with the lower profile /less sidewall there would be an improvement in responsiveness.
