I was thinking this would be a good idea, but maybe with more details?
e.g. copy and paste:
Car: (early/late)
Wheel manufacturer & model:
Wheel dimensions & offset, front:
Wheel dimensions & offset, rear:
Tyre Specs:
Spacers front: (if applicable)
Spacers rear: (if applicable)
Suspension modifications: (if applicable)
Guard modifications: (if applicable)
Because too much information about wheels can never be a bad thing
And may I add, your car looks great!
Post update:
Car: '83 944

Thanks . Yes the offset helped allow the 8.5's up front, never have had a problem with rubbing. I'm running fairly lowpro tyres so I think that helps. Might be a different story when I lower it! Will get back to you then
P.S. PorscheDude1 you have great taste in wheels... love both those 968s! Ideola, great cars, I have always wondered what type A's would look like on a 944, had my eyes on a set in similar sizes to yours!
Keep those specs & pics coming people!

89vwdiselgolf here is my 89 S2 with Cup II wheels on it.
Front: 17x7 ET55
Rear: 17X8 ET52 (I think, they came on the car, so not totally sure)
Tires front: 225/45/17
Rear: 255/40/17
No rubbing
Paragon Koni coil over front
Koni rear with M030 swaybar (not the M030 option, just the bar)
I will post a closer picture when I get home this week from work.

Here is my car with 16x7 Fusch on all 4 corners, then with CupII's 16x7, and 16x9. (both sets of wheels have the same size tires 225/50/16's rear 205/55/16 fronts)
Third pic is my current wheels (ROH 16x7 and 16x8 early offset)

Your "second" set are not cup IIs. Cup IIs were only 17" wheels. They are called, by wheel enhancement, C2 5spokes...( http://www.wheelenhancement.com/inde...elDetail&id=30 ) but I do believe there is a "cup" designation or D93 or something like that. They came on the 968 as the base wheel and also were used on the 964
